About the White Flag AwardsThe ILAM White Flag Award is the quality mark that all leisure facilities must strive to achieve. The White Flag Award highlights to your customers, staff and the general public that your organisation is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality in the Leisure Industry. Launched in 2001, the White Flag Award is an independently audited award, recognised throughout the Leisure Industry, endorsed by Fáilte Ireland and the Irish Hotels Federation. In addition to the White Flag Award, two specialist awards are presented annually - Disability Provision and Training Ethos Awards. These specialist awards have been very successful and allow clubs to develop and specialise in areas of their business, further developing the quality of the facilities. This year a special presentation was made to Facilities that have been recipients of the White Flag for Ten Years .
